Cervical screening
Ages 25 to 64: Invited every 5 years in England, Scotland, and Wales.
Cervical screening, often called a smear test, is a vital health check to prevent cervical cancer by identifying high-risk Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and abnormal cell changes early. It is a routine screening, not a test for current cancer.
In the UK, screening is offered to anyone with a cervix (including women, trans men, and non-binary people). Trans & Non-binary: If not registered as female with your GP, you may need to opt-in for invitations.

Contraceptive choices
We offer many contraceptive choices:
Hormonal and non-hormonal coil fitting and removals. If you would like more information or would like to book a coil fitting, you will first need to book a telephone pre-assessment appointment with our women’s health nurse.
Nexplanon birth control implant fitting and removal. A tiny, flexible rod inserted under the skin of the upper arm, releasing progestin to prevent pregnancy for 3 to 5 years.
Depo-Provera or Sayana Press. A hormonal injection method preventing pregnancy for 8–13 weeks by stopping ovulation and thickening cervical mucus.
Contraceptive pills and patches. Hormonal methods with either progestin-only or combined oestrogen and progestin methods are delivered orally or through the skin.
